Shalom Berger, Daniel Jacobson and Chaim Waxman, writing from the perspectives of an educator, a psychologist and a sociologist, respectively, chart out the changes experienced by students and their impact on the Jewish community, and present fascinating data and conclusions on the subject. The book has an introduction by Richard Joel, President of Yeshiva University. Rabbi Berger is on the faculty of The Lookstein Center for Jewish Education in the Diaspora, School of Education at Bar-Ilan University and has served as the resident historian on the Yeshivat Har Etzion trips to Poland for the past two years.
