Shabbat Parshat Pinchas found the yeshiva celebrating with Moreinu Harav Mosheh his fiftieth birthday! During the seuda, 4th year talmid and yeshiva gabai Matan Velin discussed Harav Mosheh's educational philosophy. Among other things, he mentioned the importance of giving individual attention to one's students and Harav Mosheh's strong concern for this goal.

Upon completing the dvar Torah, Matan presented Harav Mosheh with a silver Kiddush Cup, donated by the talmidim and a symbol of the family element of Kiddush, linking the Lichtenstein and the yeshiva-at-large families together.
