About the author and translator

Elyashev Reichner is an author and journalist who writes for the Israeli newspaper Makor Rishon. He lives in the Negev Desert town of Yerucham, and is a graduate of its hesder yeshiva. His most recent book, in Hebrew, is The Orange Campaign: The Fight for Gush Katif.

Rabbi Elli Fischer '99, formerly the OU/ JLIC educator at the University of Maryland, is an independent translator, editor and writer. He lives in Modiin, Israel, with his wife and three children. He received his MA and BA degrees from Yeshiva University and semikhah from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate. He maintains a personal weblog at adderabbi.blogspot.com.
